  • Supervisor / Assistant – UDON Aventura

    We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant Manager/Supervisor in Miami (Florida-USA) – AVENTURA MALL, with a great passion for gastronomy, and with great leadership skills.     Responsibilities

    • Report to GM

    Management:

    • Personnel Control. Work closely with kitchen and Front staff.
    • Coordinate and optimize the operations of BOH and Front restaurants.
    • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow.
    • Training of staff, in the absence of the GM
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Ensure all equipment and procedures are up to code – MAINTENANCE.
    • Manage orders and contact with suppliers
    • Monitor inventory
    • Establish and maintain policies and protocols
    • Perform the cash balance and daily accounting closing. (in the absence of the GM)

    Service:

    • Ensures positive employee experiences
    • Manage reservations
    • Receive customers and take orders + follow up on service
    • Creates and ensures customer experiences by creating and maintaining a positive culture.
    • Inform and recommend to clients about our Restaurant offering… knowing the composition and preparation of the entire menu.
    • Handle and resolve customer complaints
    • Increase market share. Promote sales.

    Requirements

    • Complete AVAILABILITY to work approximately 50 hours/week, including weekends, days, nights and holidays (according to Mall Aventura opening hours)
    • Training: Training in restaurant/hotel management. Valuable degree in hospitality and/or tourism.
    • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar position in a full-service corporate concept, Restaurants – or Food Industry in Florida.
    • Experience supporting the growth of new restaurants and training new restaurant management teams
    • Be proactive in achieving our company goals in sales, service and appearance, while creating a positive, fun and productive work environment.
    • Familiar with food and restaurant costs, inventory, labor cost, and cleanliness.
    • Knows how to work as a team and leads by example
    • Person with a happy and enthusiastic character.
    • Person who values ​​and respects diversity
